In Jewish Studies we are getting ready for our Hanukkah show on Tuesday 12/8/15. Everyone is welcomed to attend to help us get in the spirit of this beautiful holiday. Please drop off your child at 5:45 p.m. in our classroom, so we can get ready for the show. We are so excited for you to see us spinning like dreidels on the stage.
Our Junior Chefs were busy measuring water and cracking eggs to make our yummy cinnamon crunch cake. It smelled and tasted delicious!
We are so excited about Hanukkah and loved coloring dreidels with crayons, which we decorated our classroom with. They look so beautiful and make our room so festive! Take a look the next time you come into our room.
In Science with Ms. Amanda we made candles. We took a piece of wax and laid a wick on it. We then rolled the wax into a candle. We had the chance to see melted wax turn into a solid candle. How cool!
Our class would like to welcome our new friend Elena. She has transitioned into our room so nicely and our class has been so helpful in showing her our toys and playground.
In Show – N – Tell we talked about a musical calculator, a husky puppy, a bouncy globe, two blankies, a football, Anna and Elsa dolls, a jet and a toy playground.
A big thank you to Elliott’s aunt for being our mystery reader. Our class loved the owl book and the stuffed owl that our classroom gets to keep. Whoo Whoo!
Samara and Elliott did a great job as our Ema and Abba this week. Next week our Ema is Hannah and our Abba is Zachary.
Hannukah program on Tuesday 12/8/15. All our welcome to sing and dance with us.
Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in their cubby.
Our class Hanukkah party is set for Wednesday 12/9/15 at 10:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to join in our classroom festivities.
