In Jewish Studies we sang prayers from our Siddur and listened to a story about why Mezuzahs lay sideways. After that we colored our own Mezuzahs with crayons for us to take home.
In honor of Presidents Day we talked about the Presidents that are found on paper money and coins. Did you know that our city was named after President Andrew Jackson who can be found on the twenty dollar bill? Samara remembered that George Washington is on the one dollar bill. Too smart!
Our Junior Chefs were busy again mixing up the best pumpkin bread I’ve ever tasted. They took turns adding eggs, oil and water and the most important part, mixing the batter. It seemed like it took forever to cook, but it was definitely worth the wait. It was delicious!
During Show-N-Tell we talked about: A Cinderella tiara, A hockey dog, A robot bug, A green truck, An Olaf microphone, an Auburn tiger and an orange race car.
Milly and D.J. did a fantastic job as our Ema and Abba. Next week our Ema is Samara and our Abba is Elliott.
