We had a great first week in our Parparim class. The children are getting to know one another and learning our class routine. We had fun on Friday celebrating our first Shabbat and doing a fun science experiment, in which we we filled a container with water and had the children make tin foil boats. The children were amazed to see their boats move magically by themselves after Ms.Janet placed a drop of rubbing alcohol on the back of the boats. We will be doing more fun science experiments throughout the year!
We had fun at show and tell and are looking forward to seeing what the children bring in throughout the year.
On Fridays we will be sending home a Shabbat bag containing a teddy bear and a book as well as a box containing candles, challah and juice . Please remember to send the bag and box back on Monday so the next child will be able to take it home with them the following week. We will be collecting Tzedakah on Fridays during Shabbat to help our friends in need. Madison and Zachai started off our school year as Ema and Abba and we can’t wait for everyone to have a chance to lead our class in celebration!
This week’s Ema is Andi and the Abba is Simon. Parents are welcome to join us.
